Notes of the day: ( Being unemployed isn't all that bad... )   G ood evening Sweet Peas !   So with a bit ( okay...more than a bit ) of extra time on my hands I have been able to ponder the things I didn't have time to before. I have been looking at my life up until now in depth and re-assessing. I can proudly say that I am thankful for even my darkest moments, as they have made me who I am today. I regret hardly anything, and I think that is more than a lot of people can say for themselves. C'est La Vie!

*If you've never heard of the lolita fashion-style or seen how (かわいい!)cute the clothing is then you might want to skip this post OR watch a video about it here! For traveling outside of the USA and living in a foreign country for the first time in my life, I'm happy to say that I'd go back again. I think Korea has given me a great deal of open-mindedness and new perspective on the world that you can't get from traveling or staying a week somewhere. I love that it's so different from the US or even other western countries. Although it took a few months well to really sink in how awesome the experience was, I loved it and would not trade it for the world! Pluses: Great Pay...

April 6, 2013 We both woke up early for A 's flight to Japan , around 8am. It was a little dark, rainy and cold. The weather reflected how I felt on the inside at his rapidly impending departure. I didn't let it show though, because I didn't want him to feel guilty. I wanted him to enjoy his vacation and not dwell on his codependent girlfriend at home. Neither of us had a clue that the day would be so wonderful! ...and it was! So after packing and showering and shaving and having breakfast and saying goodbye to me, for the millionth time (and me tearing up like a fool) A left our apartment--umbrella in one hand, suitcase trailing behind him. About half and hour later, A calls me with sheer panic in his voice. "I am going to miss my flight I can't get a bus to the airport until 11am," he says. I envision him sitting in the bus station, all alone, freaking out. I wished I was there to tell him it'll be alright. I did my best to console him over the ...
